ZIBACAR’s Library is the hub of all learning activities for the students and is aptly known as the Knowledge Resource Center. The Institute has a well-furnished library equipped with books and journals of varied subjects. The library has top-notch infrastructure as per AICTE norms and is spacious with a well-furnished reading room. There are racks displaying the latest editions of prominent newspapers and reputed journals with an additional provision for the display of new arrivals. This library has extended timings to provide flexibility to our budding management scholars. Besides, the library has a reprographic facility and internet connectivity to facilitate smooth administrative work. Apart from academics, our library also has a collection of books to stimulate the general awareness of the students, improve their communication dynamics, and sharpen their aptitude and presentation skills. Soft skills, business games and personality development are some other key areas in which we seek to step-up the students’ skills through our superior library provisions. Consistent efforts are made to upgrade the library with the latest arrivals bearing relevance to current times. We also make modifications and upgrades in line with the needs and recommendations by the faculty and students. A well-equipped E-library with an excellent collection of E-books, E-journals, and non-printing material (NPM) including books CDs, and software installable CD ensures we have provisions even for those who prefer to learn online.

Library of ZIBACAR is not just lending and borrowing book. Library is the hub of all learning activities and aptly calls the Library as the Knowledge Resource Center.

The Knowledge Resource Center has the ambiance for exchange of knowledge. It is also equipped with multimedia computers. The knowledge resource center boasts of immense resources, spanning from books, journals, magazines, and weeklies, Newspapers to e-resources that include CD, DVD, Database like the ‘CMIE Prowess’, ‘Ace Equity’ and e-journals like EBSCO BSE+, J-Gate JSMS, IEEE that provide much needed knowledge for research and reference. The Knowledge Resource Centre is equipped Library Management System that increases the efficiency and helps to track the reading habits of the students and faculty. The Staff of the library keep themselves abreast of the NEWS, EVENTS and Knowledge, and believe in service with a smile. The Knowledge Resource Center operates on extended timings to cater the need of the students.

The knowledge resource is also attached with reading section where necessary arrangement for reading and writing are made. Digital library facilities are also made available.

Open Access in the stacking area is offered to the students and staff.

Staff Members can take 10 books for the period of one semester as per their requirements.

C.A.S. (Current Awareness Service) is available to students and staff.

General Rules

Readers should maintain silence strictly in the reading hall library premises.

Use of Mobile phone is strictly prohibited in the library premises.

Only registered members are allowed to use the Library facilities

Library membership Card/ID card is non transferable.

Library Transaction will not be done without ID Card.

No personal belongings allowed inside the library.

Eatables or refreshment of any kind is not allowed library premises.

Reader Should make digital In-Out entry at the entrance counter before entering reading hall or Library.

Book Bank

SC/ST students of college can become a member of the book bank giving application along with caste certificate.

Each member of the book bank will be issued one book set as per syllabus for each semester.

Books shall be returned within two days after the semester end examination, otherwise a fine of Rs.1/- per day will be charged.

Reference Section

Reference books and Periodicals are not issued outside the library.
